Spirituality in Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy informed by a Spiritual perspective is about emphasizing a more realistic relationship with one’s ‘self’ and others. This means loosening one’s hold on objects, possessions and relationships that we have habitually collected and which only serve the purpose of reifying our ‘sense of self’. This can lead to problems such as anxiety, depression, addiction and relationship problems.

Paradoxically, by connecting to something ‘Transpersonal’, we can begin a process of ‘letting go’, and through a range of exercises and practices, we arrive at a more fulfilling and honest relationship with the world and have more energy too!

Exercises include learning formal Meditation, practicing Mindfulness, Breathing Techniques, Life Mapping, role plays and more.
